2012 Graduation Information Board
2012 GRADUATION INFORMATION
Tickets: NO TICKETS ARE REQUIRED Graduation Rehearsal: Rehearsal is scheduled for June 12th from 8:00 am to 11:00 am. at the Pavilion. Please be on time; if we finish early we leave early. Performers and speakers need to be prepared for microphone level setting and a review of the order of performance and speaking. Students will need to arrange their own transportation to and from the Pavilion.
Graduation Ceremony: Graduates need to arrive by 5:30 pm. This will give us time to get everybody checked in, lined up, look for inappropriate items and get organized. It will also prevent graduates from getting caught in rush hour traffic and being late. Speakers , it is imperative that you are on time. If you are late (a performer arrived at the start of the ceremony last year), we will cancel you from the program.
Graduates, please remember this is an important rite of passage. Please treat it as such. No beach balls, blow-up toys, noise makers or any object that detracts from the integrity of the event will be permitted. Graduates who bring such items risk their participation in the ceremony.
Please dress appropriately for the occasion.
Parking: There is an $8.00 charge for parking. Graduates will be permitted entry for the 5:30 pm report time. The gates will open at 6:00 pm for parent and guest entry.
Diplomas: Diplomas and certificates of completions will be awarded after the ceremony in a room behind the stage. The process should take a half hour. We will review the process at the rehearsal.
Fines: Remember, all fines and debts must be cleared to ensure receiving your diploma. Please make sure all your book are turned in to the IMC. We will hold diplomas and certificates of completion if you have a fine/debt or an outstanding book. The treasurer will bring a final list of outstanding items to rehearsal, please listen carefully when those names are read. The treasurer and IMC will be available for a limited time after rehearsal to clear fines. Clear them early, because doing so at the last minute doesn’t work.
Final Transcripts: Final Transcripts request forms are available outside of the registrar’s office. Forms must be completed with the correct address of the school you are attending. Transcripts will be mailed the third week of June.
Proper planning alleviates stress; Last minute doesn’t work.
