Jonathan Pike

Greetings Ygnacio Valley Community, 

 

I have served as an educator of 17 years, most has been in service to high schools. I was a teacher and vice principal, but I consider my most important job to be that of a child advocate.  As I walk the hallways or go into classrooms of YV, please know that I will always support students, encourage them every day and celebrate their success no matter how large or small.  Every student, let me repeat-every student, must know they are valued equally and have a special home here in our YV family and are a part of our Wolfpack.

 

I am originally from the east coast, and grew up half of my childhood time in the San Diego area.  I attended and received my formal several degrees from California Polytechnic State University - San Luis Obispo as well as National University.  Additionally, I have served in the US Army, as well as the CA National Guard for over 26 years in the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. I have a family and reside in the local area.
